Policy scope
NGOmade works primarily with custom, handmade, branded, bulk, corporate, wedding, and event gifting orders. Because many orders are made or assembled specifically for a buyer, cancellation and return terms depend on the stage of work and the accepted quotation.
Before order confirmation
You may abandon a quote request, product shortlist, contact enquiry, or call request before order confirmation without charge. A request is not an order until the final quotation, scope, payment or purchase order terms, and approvals are accepted in writing.
After order confirmation
Once an order is confirmed, NGOmade may begin sourcing, material procurement, handmade production, printing, packaging, design preparation, supplier booking, or logistics planning. Cancellation after this point may not be possible, or may attract partial charges for work already completed or committed.
Customized, branded, personalized, handmade, perishable, event-date-specific, wedding-specific, or special procurement orders may be non-cancellable once work has started.
Change requests
Changes to quantity, artwork, packaging, delivery city, addresses, dispatch model, or timeline after approval may affect feasibility, price, and delivery dates. NGOmade will confirm whether a change can be accepted and what revised charges or timelines apply.
Returns
Returns are generally not accepted for custom, branded, handmade, bulk, event-specific, wedding-specific, or made-to-order gifts unless the item is materially defective, damaged in transit, wrongly supplied, or otherwise eligible under the accepted quote or applicable law.
Minor handmade variation in color, texture, print placement, weave, dimensions, finish, or material behavior is not treated as a defect unless it materially differs from the confirmed specification.
Reporting damage or defects
Please report damage, shortage, wrong item, or material defect within 48 hours of delivery. Include the order or quote reference, photos of the product and packaging, quantity affected, and a brief description of the issue.
NGOmade may ask for additional evidence or inspection before approving a replacement, repair, credit, refund, or reverse pickup.
Approved resolutions
Depending on the issue, product type, availability, and order context, NGOmade may offer one or more of the following resolutions:
- Replacement of the affected item or component.
- Repair, repacking, or correction where feasible.
- Credit adjustment against the order or future order.
- Partial or full refund for the affected item where replacement is not practical.
Refund timing
Approved refunds will be processed through the agreed payment route or bank transfer after internal review and receipt of any required return material. Bank, payment gateway, and reconciliation timelines may affect when the refund appears.
